Heres the first batch of photos from our Hong Kong and Macau trip 3 weeks ago. I’ll be separating each gallery for each location and or type and style. And by the way how are you liking the new theme (skin) of this site?
Canon had a great Photographer’s Night celebration yesterday evening, it was held at NBC tent Fort Bonifacio. They launched their 3 latest DSLR’s, the EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 50D and EOS 1000D. I was the one asked to review the EOS 50D and we made a recorded interview for the AVP presentation. This is my second time doing this AVP thing and im still laughing at my self because im not really comfortable in front of the camera. In fairness i have improved, from 3 hours taping (EOS 400D review) down to 2 hours for this one hahaha. I welcome these things because in life you need to face your fears to be able to learn, grow and overcome your weaknesses. After seeing the edited version last night i found relief pwede na pala yung ginawa ko haha. I salute Direct Peach Castelo of Sacred Space Film Productions for doing a great job!
And now back to the topic…. when will the 5d Mark II will be available 😀
Have a great weekend everyone!
Of course moral support from my wife. Too bad she was late to watch the AVP 😀
Im having problems uploading the full sized jpegs here. I uploaded them to my Flickr instead, so head-on to this link Canon EOS 50D Sample Photos for more shots and see the original sized jpegs.
BTW for updates see my post at PiPho 😉
Disclaimer: Keep in mind that this is a pre-production unit so what you will see here may differ on the production units.
This week Im shooting shiny products, the most challenging product I ever photographed. I successfully eliminated the unwanted reflections and I also created some wanted shadows to put more life to the product. You really need to understand how the light bounces back (angle of incidence) to perfect this shot.
