Subic - Bataan with Dave & Vernes

For the longest time… It was just yesterday that i was able to do a photo shoot for my own pleasure… I had a great time with my Photo Org buddies Dave Deluria & Vernes Go to do a travel photography yesterday. This trip is for an ocular for the PiPho Org trip this weekend.

We had to travel from SCTEX - Subic then Bataan. Later in the day we did some sunset shots at Azucar Familys heritage village. It was a super lucky day to have the amazing clouds and tri-color sky.

Im specially overwhelmed with the Heritage Village at Bagac as in WOW! We got to travel back in time with beautiful Filipino Architecture!

For the meantime I wont be uploading the actual shoots from the trip since we dont want to spoil our friends.

iPhone 3G available Aug. 22

The highly anticipated iPhone 3G will be available on August 22 via Globe Telecom with a disappointing price of the prepaid unit at Php41,000. At this price i will not buy it, its not practical and its not worth the money IMHO. Id probably buy the Nokia e71 instead of this.

La Crosse Charger

No not Lacoste hehehe

Last month I bought another charger, the intriguing La Crosse charger. Some photographers advocate it as the best of all charger. Let us see if it can live with my expectations. I haven’t used its recondition and refresh feature yet. 

BTW it detected one of my ansmann 2700mah AA battery as dead. Which is right. I will try to resurrect my old sanyo 1800’s AA.

4 days with Lightroom 2.0.. not beta

If you havent seen / heard of it. Lightroom 2.0 is now finished with its beta stage and Adobe is now selling the final version of the software. Luckily adobe provides a 30 days fully functional trial version of LR 2.0.I already used it in two projects, two event photography coverage 1 is coroporate and 1 personal.

I must say that the new improvements are very useful specially the brush exposure +/-. Im still fiddling with its new added feats. I also like the saturation brush. Some noticeble UI improvements in the grid folders views. Speed wise, theres a little to noticed and Adobe still didnt add an option for bumping up RAM or CPU power. Im still dissappointed with the watermarking feature which is the most useful export feature i always used.
