I’m Regie Fernando, a Filipino — pure Pinoy. Born year of the horse. Graduate of Bachelor degree in Architecture and a two year degree course in Construction Supervision. Practiced Architecture in two years and grabbed my “calling” as a photographer year 2004,  from 2004 to 2007 I freelanced to different companies and personal accounts then established a studio in late 2007 which is now imagesmith photography in Pasig.

I mostly shoot commercial photography applications such as billboards, brochure, catalog, annual reports and all types of advertising requirements. From landscape / travel, still life, products and  portraiture. I also do fine art work for personal pleasure and been wanting to mount a series 1 man show in the Philippines and some parts of the world.

Im a techie person hence my cyber nickname “tekgik” . I put up this blog to express my thoughts and to share ideas and knowledge both in photography ang technology. You will also see some personal posts about my son Raffy. Probably after 10 years time, he then can see how i blogged on his growing up years.

Sometimes Im serious, sometimes wacky and sometimes snobbish. Thats maybe the life of a passionate individual to a thing called “Art”. Im patient and kind person at least “sabi ng asawa ko”. A proud dad, a loving husband and oh yes im taken.

   hellow po.. amhp.. I’m rowell 16, nakita ko po ang mga artworks nyo.. love n love ko po kumuha and tumingin ng mga pic.. nakita ko po mga gawa nyo, and naimpress po me..galing po ninyo!

   hello po isa po akong seaman halos naikot ko na rin ang mundo napuntahan mga magandang lugar sayang di ako magaling kumuha ng picture, gusto ko pong mag enroll sa workshop ninyo, kailangan ko na po bang bumili ng mamahaling camera please need your suggestion.maraming salamat po in advance.

   Hi Ronald, you don’t need an expensive camera to be able to take good photos. Tama yan aralin muna camera so that you can maximize your abilities.

   Regie, I was surprised to see this webpage through Google. I used to see you as a kid in your family’s hardware, now big time na, galing!!!! Do you still conduct seminars? Medyo hooked na rin as a hobby and Photography, any tips, lessons are welcome. Btw Eugene here, your Melvin’s good friend.
