Blessing in disguise

Yesterday I went to shoot the 12th hot air balloon fiesta with PiPho friends. After the balloon prep (torch testing and inflation), a co-PiPhoL Ton S (Terence) approached me if i wanted to ride a balloon? At first, i was thinking if he was joking but when approached the biggest balloon of the day which is the Lindstrand the octupus shaped balloon he is not kidding. The chase crew which was his good friend said there is a big chance of being a passenger. After the Lindstrand had completely erected I was asked to jumped in and it all happened so fast I was overwhelmed of what happened.

So why Terence gave his slot to me? Well unfortunately he is going for work and he might be late for that. Terence yo the man! Thanks

Tomorrow is the first day of  the 12th Hot Air Balloon Fiest at Clark Field Pampanga. We have no passes, I hope we can get inside the flyout zone.. I need to sleep now since i need to get up 2:30am.  My photo 2 years ago!

My photos at Canon

Last night while checking out the latest printer of Canon at Canon Photo Forum event. I saw one of my photo that i call “wet rocks” taken at Caylabne last 2006 showcased as their fine art prints. It was printed on museum etching fine art photo paper. I was told also that my other photos are showcased at Photoworld 2008 and Canon concept store SM megamall. Il try to look at that. BTW if you also happen to go to Canon Tri-noma Mall I also have some photos there, the big one is the “Game Over”.

Heres the actual photo printed on Museum Etching Fine Art photo paper and printed by the Canon Pixma Pro 9500.

Im now in loved with this printer, now where is that piggy bank I kept

Canon Photo Forum 2008

I attended the Canon Photo Forum 2008 last night at Mandarin Oriental Makati. Wohooo! PiPho Org won the Canon Ambassador Program 2007. We have an accumulated purchases of around 1.2M+ , Raffy Yllana our current president and I received the humongous check from Canon that amounts to P100,000 for the cash prize and 2% rebates on all Canon purchases.

We went to Our Lady of Manaoag yesterday. I didnt know that my wife wife & mother had planned this together with my mother-in-law. I was informed evening of saturday. Knowing that im a little burnt-out from saturdays walk-about shoot I still have to do my chore as a daddy. :)  My makulit son Raffy at a jeepney!
