There are so many ways to transport in Alona, one of the famous is you rent these motorbikes for about P1,500 to P2,000 It depends on the motorcycle model.

While finishing my last shots for the day, I saw this man standing on the large rocks just infront of Atlantis Resort.

Island of Bohol, Philippines

Posted by tekgik under Travel

I just came back from Bohol, one of the Island of the Philippines that have great wonders. Tagbilaran City, the province capital is just 1 hour and 15 mins away from Manila on an airbus ride via Cebu Pacific Airlines. From Tagbilaran to Panglao Island is just 45 mins travel through land. Our van driver Baddon was really nice to us, very accomodating and friendly the way a Pinoy treats it guests.

I will start this post from the very first day of the travel up to the last day of adventure. I accumulated a total of 10 gigabytes worth of photos fand will pick the best from it. There are lots of photos to share with you! This trip is one of the finest ive been. We happened to see the 7 wonders of Bohol, and travel to the finest beaches on this province.

For the meantime… seat back… Its travel time!

A typical Philippine scene. This is what separates Tagbilaran City and Panglao Island

Our first stop in Dumaluan. IMHO I like it here better than Alona beach. Unfortunately theres no room available so we have to move to Alona. The sand dunes created by the water radiates the calm and cozy atmosphere of this Paradise.

End of tenure

Posted by tekgik under kaBlog

Last night the Pinoy Photography Organization have a new set of officers for 2007. Im very glad to hand it over to a friend Raffy Yllana which I feel deserving for the position. I will stay as the Chairman and the rest of the founders as board of directors and we will be consulted for major decisions.

The Org was a big part of my life for the past 14 months. Its not easy to handle a forum with more than a two thousand members at the same time handle its core club members and divide also time for work and most important my family. I learned a lot trough the trials and “controversies”. I didnt met all the plans that were planned but Im still proud how the members became my friends, my foe and a fellow club member.

I was offered for a position but I declined because I need more time to focus on my career right now, I guess THIS IS IT.

Congratulations to my fellow PiPhoLs! Continue the visions of the Org!
