OMG iPhone!
Posted by tekgik under News, Tech, kaBlog
Look at this gorgeous-sexylicious-gadgelicious phone from apple! Dang! I want one.
From apple website

Introducing the iPhone
iPhone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.
It came from outer space! Unfortunately it will be available in Asia by 2008! No 3G support too! Bummer! But still id like to have one.
Who could resist with a phone with iPod capabilities & OSx interface?

I survived
Posted by tekgik under Travel, kaBlog
I survived! Continuation from here . The Pista ng Quiapo “Feast of the black Nazarene” today. I was with 3 other friends from pinoyphotography.org and we shoot around, go around and wait. We met at 7am then parked at Sm Manila and walked our way to Quirino Grandstand!
Its an overwhelming experience for me especially after the bell rang and they started the procession. I had goose bumps when i saw people jump, wrestle, sing, pray, cry and wave their towels for the Black Nazarene. Great great experience for me, I was hoping that I could shoot some very near shots but that was impossible.
This is an initial photo taken today at the grandstand. This Black Nazarene is a replica from owned by the devotees.

Posted by tekgik under Travel, kaBlog
I visited Quiapo this afternoon after getting our ID’s from Manila City Hall. I register my self and my two other friends to the “Pista ng Quiapo” photo contest. I saw interesting things today like this “Marching Band”. They stroll around all the commercial ertablishments play their tunes and also solicits donations.
I love the color of their attire so ifollowed them.

I hope for great weather tomorrow!

Innocent eyes
Posted by tekgik under People, kaBlog
Some say “Eyes is the window to the soul” So how can you see or perceive the photo of my son below?
This was taken few days back beside a large door on the right. I did some post processing treatment to make it subtle and light. Raphael got his eyes from my wife.
