Excited to go back
Posted by tekgik under kaBlog
hello there! I was quite busy again this week non-photography work related. Im now starting to prepare my trip to Cebu, Im quite excited to see and here Sinulog again! Today was a very busy day, I fixed some things in PiPho and go offline to buy tiles naman for my pizza outlet because we are renovating the kit sink area.
Anyway yesterday was a blessing in disguise John Chua lend me his Epson P2000 image sotrage viewer, I will no longer have a problem with storage for Sinulog. I also bought items additional batteries and CF cards. I brought my camera to Canon yesterday for cleaning, I salute the guys at Canon Philippines for fast service, less than one hour its finished! Libre pa linis ng lens. And I was also surprised that they didnt charged me for anything.

Judge
Posted by tekgik under kaBlog
Last Thursday I was invited by Zone V Camera Club to be one of their Judge for their “Rush Hour” theme. Being as one of their judge is a priviledge, this Camera Club has the prestige name & stood for 30 years. Interesting images from their members, different views and interpretations. Most of my comments are technical because I still believe that different artists have different personal preferences. Comments like “too slow shutter” , “quality of prints” , “emphasis on the subject” and “out of focus”. There are outstanding entries but here are also needs some anticipation and more patience to get the right moment. I know that some of them are “photo finish” submitted for the reason of submitting. This also happens to me and the rest of my co-members from PiPho Org.

Last day of World Pyro Olympics
Posted by tekgik under Nightscape, kaBlog
Today is the last day of the World Pyro Olympics. I brought my family again to this wonderful event, but as to be expected we experienced heavy traffic! I parked my car far away from the esplanade. Fortunately the area where I parked is the vantage point i was eyeing for, this is in front of SM Mall of Asia.
After the first round we decided to go home because I know that after the event the traffic will be hell!
Look at this crowd in the vicinity, Macapagal highway is jampacked.
