400D and the kit lens (18-55)

I went to UP Diliman in Quezon City to have a nice feel of the unit in shooting some greeneries and abstractions. Most of the members from PiPho wants a sample shots from the kit lens. The kit lens canon lend me was a lemon, I had to restart the camera several times because of the error 99 (err 99).

You now judge if its the pana and not the indian.

All shots are untouched only resize.

Canon EOS Rebel Xti aka 400D insights

It has landed here in the Philippines, the Canon 400D, 350D’s successor.

Its now in my hands, the 400D for field testing and review. Watch out for the in depth review in the coming days while I test this new baby from Canon.

Well for the meantime here are some initial impressions of the camera.

The EOS 400D is virtually identical from its predecessor EOS 350D. Size, weight and handling are almost the same. It has improved ergonomics thus giving the user a more stable grip. There are three significant features that are worth noting, the bigger LCD, ICS (Integrated Cleaning System), and picture styles which is one of my favorite. LCD is much brighter than the 5D and 30D. Integrated Cleaning System was one of the intriguing features and yet i dont know if this new technology works well i can conclude that after i complete this review.
